this reminds me of something the Author Robin Black once said in an interview about tragedies in life:
"How else do we get through life except by continually trying to see something redemptive in it's brief, often harsh nature? By telling story after story about people navigating the rough waters of grief, I am absolutely rehearsing for myself, again and again, the notion that there is a purpose of some kind to it all. And that the redemption lies somewhere in how we help one another through."
